Do scroll animations slow down a website?

Done carelessly, yes. We load only the first frame up front and fetch the rest once the visitor starts scrolling. On DUMAN we cut the images from 20.8 MB to 2.6 MB and the slow-mobile load from 40 seconds to 2.6.

Do we need a physical video shoot for these pages?

Not necessarily. The seven-room space and burger layers in our DUMAN project were produced entirely with AI without physical filming.
